Partnership with Intuit
The partnership includes the renovation of a facility in the Coal Fields Regional Industrial Park that has been home to Sykes since 2007. Intuit plans to hire 150 people by the end of 2019 and an additional 150 by the end of 2020. The operation will support Intuit’s products and services. Sykes will be responsible for hiring and operations of staff. Company leaders anticipate renovations to begin in the coming weeks, with the facility 
operational by January 2020.

Dajcor Aluminum Ltd., headquartered in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada, was founded in 2010 after a group of Chatham businessmen purchased the assets of Daymond Aluminum. The investors’ mission was to restore the company to its pre-recession status as a widely recognized supplier of extruded, fabricated and anodized aluminum components to the US and Canadian markets. The company, which formerly served the automotive industry exclusively, has expanded to serve a range of markets, including renewable energy, medical equipment, transportation, building trades, military, marine, recreation and consumer-product industries.
Dajcor is located in the former American Woodmark facility. The operation involves aluminum extrusion and fabrication to serve a variety of North American industries. This location will also help the company better reach its US customers. Retrofitting and setup will begin immediately and operations are slated to begin by the end of 2019.
